The Kyčerka Resort is located in Velké Karlovice, a community in the East of the Czech Republic very close to the Slovakian border. The park is surrounded by the beautiful nature of the Beskids, the central mountain ranges of the Carpathians. It is a wonderful respite where you can ski in winter or you can hike and cycle in summer. The resort offers several accommodation possibilities, the Grand Hotel Tatra or the typical ‘Wallachian cottages’ (Wallachia is a historic region in Romania), where the traditional elements go hand in hand with the modern technologies. In July 2020, a new asset was added to the resort. A gigantic water park that combines various wet leisure and wellness facilities, a dream place for young and old.
The complex of the new water world blends into the spectacular natural surroundings by using natural materials such as wood and stone, some of these materials were extracted locally. Eclipse, the model from Alpha Wellness Sensations that has won already several awards, has been given a place of honour here. There are six extra large units installed stepwise against the slope in a charming corner. Each unit was covered with heather matting and they are practically connected by a wooden path. This way you can walk from different saunas to the relax room that was also supplied in an Eclipse module. This relax Eclipse is furnished with ergonomic benches, extendable footrests and a back wall with rough salt stones. In terms of thermal experiences, you can choose between a Finnish sauna, a bio sauna, an infrared sauna and a steam room. Each unit has a handy front porch with benches and hangers. There is plenty of room, you can lay stretched out on the wide benches arranged in two levels in the sauna and bio sauna. The infrared heaters are arranged in such a way that six persons can enjoy the back, legs and front infrared therapy in the same time. The shower (supplied in a separate cooling off Eclipse) and the steam room are completely finished in mosaic tiles, and there are obviously delicious scents to be enjoyed during the steaming sessions.
