Deauville is a gem on the Côte Fleurie, or Flower Coast. This elegant seaside resort is world-famous as a meeting place for film stars. Located on Deauville’s boulevard, right across from the sea, Spa Deauville offers a small public spa or a fully private wellness area with a whirlpool, hammam, sauna, ice fountain, and relaxation room. Alpha Wellness Sensations had the honor of designing two of these private spaces, each equipped with a sauna and steam bath. The ice fountain is also a ‘cool’ piece of engineering by Alpha Wellness Sensations. Every day, it produces 150 kg of ice, which is collected in a designer stainless steel basin.

The saunas are classic, light models made from ayous wood, featuring traditional sauna lamps. The walls, ceiling, benches, and backrests form a soft, cohesive whole designed for complete relaxation. The casing of the sauna heater and the lamps are also perfectly matched to this style. For the steam baths, Alpha Wellness Sensations constructed the interior space with molded benches and a curved ceiling, which were later tiled by a third party. LED strips were integrated into the benches, and the ceiling contains 15 spotlights. The access doors to the units are made of safety glass within an aluminum frame, adding a modern touch to the spaces.
