The Tumulidreef in Watermaal-Bosvoorde is notable for its historical and architectural significance. The alley is the start of the beautiful Tumuliweg that leads straight through the Sonian Forest to the Groenendaal arboretum. The beautiful trees and green surroundings create a quiet and serene atmosphere in the street. The homes and buildings there often have a rich history. This history also means that renovation is necessary now and then. This also applies to this private home, for which Alpha Wellness Sensations was allowed to design the wellness facilities.

Unique to this design is that the curved back wall was used for the sauna and steam bath. Given that the building is round, this curved space was utilized down to the last millimeter. The benches in both rooms follow this round shape. In the steam bath, the benches are constructed in two levels, with an L-shape for the lower seats. In the sauna, the benches are made from ayous wood, are beautifully curved, and are divided into three heights for sitting or lying positions. Inside, a completely uniform look was chosen. The hemlock profiles provide a complete wooden finish for the sauna. Meanwhile, the steam bath features serene white walls and ceilings that shine with mosaic tiles. The Alpha Lux door made of safety glass provides access to the installations, which of course contain all the technical gadgets for optimal wellness comfort.
