The Intuit Dome is the impressive new stadium that will now serve as the home base for the LA Clippers basketball team. Until recently, they shared a stadium with the LA Lakers. The Intuit Dome boasts 18,000 seats for basketball fans and also hosts concerts and corporate events. It’s a one-of-a-kind venue in the world of stadiums, and it’s a true honour that Alpha Wellness Sensations had the opportunity to be part of it.
On the grounds surrounding the stadium, a pool has been installed for training and recovery. Right next to it, Alpha Wellness Sensations built a custom sauna tailored specifically for the team. The Chaleur Pro is finished on the outside with oiled, thermo-treated ayous wood — a finish that’s also reflected inside the sauna. The benches were specially reinforced with a custom-made framework, allowing the thermo-ayous planks to comfortably support the large, muscular basketball players, who on average stand over two meters tall! All lighting used is heat-resistant up to over 110°C, and both the door and window are made of double safety glass.
As a second eye-catcher, the Ice Bath Pro seamlessly complements the setup. With the same oiled thermo-ayous wood casing, it forms a cohesive unit with the sauna. This unique ice bath accommodates up to 10 people and maintains a chilling temperature of 5°C, thanks to its powerful 1300-watt cooler. It holds an impressive 1700 litres of water, which is kept perfectly clean with the help of a filter and ozonator. Knowing they can recover and unwind in this stunning creation by Alpha Wellness Sensations, the players will be even more motivated to train and compete in their brand-new stadium.
