The hotel is entitled ‘Un envol sur l’ocean’ on its website. Located on the Atlantic Ocean, the town of Châtelaillon-Plage attracts many tourists to the 3-kilometer-long beach. The port city of La Rochelle has preserved the old buildings and it is one of the most picturesque cities of the Atlantic coast.  Here is the largest port of recreational yachts in Europe. Jacques-Yves Cousteau’s old research ship was on display for a long time in the maritime museum of La Rochelle. The well-known Fort Boyard of the tv programme with the same name is within a stone’s throw and can be admired closely by taking a canal cruise. 
The hotel is all about the ocean. The gourmet kitchen, the Thalasso Spa Marin and the Spa Nuxe. AWS have installed a Chaleur Pro sauna and a steam room for the latter. Both facilities are finished with atmospheric LED lighting, speaker set and Alpha Luxe doors in order to create a stylish relaxing experience. The sauna sessions can be alternated with all kinds of beauty treatments and massages. The ocean has never been so calming!
