Around the inlet of Pornic, the 52 km coastline is dotted with coves, beaches, and small seaside resorts. The marshes and forests surrounding this vibrant coast create an idyllic palette of colors. Amidst this natural beauty, we find the eco-estate La Fontaine. The property includes a hotel, holiday accommodations, a spa, and a restaurant. Particularly impressive are the surrounding gardens and vegetable patches dedicated to permaculture. The mission of the eco-estate is to bring people and nature closer together.

It’s only logical that such a place places great emphasis on well-being and relaxation. The spa at La Fontaine spans 300 m² and features a jacuzzi, sauna, steam bath, snow fountain, Scandinavian bucket, sensory shower, and herbal tea lounge. Alpha Wellness Sensations was responsible for installing the steam bath and sauna. The adjacent units shine in their simplicity. A glass door provides access to the steam bath, where cement showcases its warmest side, with the walls, benches, and ceiling fully coated. LED spotlights illuminate the space. The sauna next door, with its glass front and wooden interior, invites visitors for an authentic experience. Additional ambiance is created by traditional sauna lamps in the corners. As for the energy production of the wellness area, it is entirely powered by photovoltaic panels, solar panels, and wood-fired boilers, making it a highly ecological addition to the eco-estate.
