The Hochsauerland park is located in the German town of Medebach in the middle of the so-called Land of 1000 mountains. It is the ideal location for a trip to the historic city of Korbach. The region is also excellent for skiing, snowboarding or tobogganing with Winterberg and Willingen as the most famous winter sports locations in the region. In the summer, you can take endless walks or plan challenging mountain bike tours.

In 2002 Center Parcs took over the park and completed a thorough renovation. The swimming pool was completely renewed by adding the Crazy River as a top attraction, where a rapid stream swings you through a channel. In 2019 the park was refurbished for the second time with a new slide in the subtropical Aqua Mundo water park: the Sauerland Splash, the Glide 'n Slide where you slide down with a strap and finally the Water Playhouse: a 9 meter high water wheel with slides and waterfalls

Alpha Wellness was asked to give a new look to the Deep Nature® Spa. In the Deep Nature® Spa the steam room was covered with EPS and furnished with a curved ceiling with LED lighting. The saunas were refurbished with hemlock timber and LED lighting. In the salt cave, the lighting was placed behind a combination of square and rectangular salt tiles. The ceiling and support pillars were covered with recycled sunburnt wood. Additionally, a salt evaporator was installed in this cave for maximum therapeutic benefits. The massage rooms were equipped with massage tables finished in Corian®.
