For example, the Finnish flag on the back wall of the sauna was highlighted by using natural oil coloring. There is a wood-fired stove and an ingenious space under the bench to store wood for an authentic sauna experience. The pouring bucket also finds its place here. This model of the sauna has a lot of space in height, so the benches are placed a bit higher and are easy to reach via wide steps. A horizontal long narrow window gives you a nice view of the surroundings but prevents you from looking in. The interior and exterior were made from ayous wood, which was treated and finished in different ways. For example, the lying surfaces of the benches are also colored with natural oils and there is an alternation between wide and thin profiles.

This eye-catcher at the Belgian Batibouw Expo introduced visitors to the original Finnish sauna.
