Bruges, the Venice of the North, is well known for its historical buildings, fascinating streets and beautiful canals inside and around the city centre, being the major tourism attraction in Belgium. This bed and breakfast is the perfect place for those that want to combine their stay in the charming Bruges with a relaxation time. There is a separate building in the garden that comprises the wellness facilities: a salt stone sauna, an infrared sauna, a steam room and an experience shower.  The wellness area is nicely illuminated and beautifully integrated in the garden. The sauna walls are coated with rough salt stones from the Himalayas. A ‘sol fog’ system supplies constant ionized mist. Furthermore this device sprays brine solution and essence into the air. The sauna and its benches are supplied in cedar wood. The lounge infrared sauna is suitable for two persons and is furnished with the Alpha Adaptive Smart control system. There are heaters installed both in the sidewalls and in the ergonomically shaped benches. The steam room is suitable for four persons and has an ergonomic bench. The bench is heated and finished with mosaic tiles just like the walls. The RGB LED strips are installed everywhere under the benches for discrete indirect lighting and together with several spots and sound system they create the right atmosphere.

The cooling down area has been also thoroughly thought. This are includes an experience shower, a separate drench bucket and an ice machine that produces 70kg ice flakes per day. This is another project by Alpha Wellness Sensations that has been crowned by the competition of the Belgian swimming pool, pond and wellness builders.
