How does red light therapy work?
Light therapy uses specific wavelengths of LED light to act on biological processes in the body. The effectiveness depends on the wavelength, which determines how deeply the light penetrates the tissues.
- 660 nm (red light): Is absorbed by the superficial layers of the skin, stimulates collagen production, promotes wound healing, and improves skin texture.
- 850 nm (near-infrared): Reaches deeper tissues, supports muscle recovery, reduces inflammation, and relieves joint pain.
- 633 nm (anti-wrinkle range): Strengthens blood vessel walls, improves oxygen supply, promotes hydration, and stimulates cell regeneration.
Benefits
- Reduction of wrinkles, scars, and age spots
- Improved skin elasticity and firmness
- Faster wound healing and tissue repair
- Relief of inflammation and muscle tension
- Support for recovery after physical activity
- Improved oxygenation and hydration of the skin
Specialized lamps
Red light lamps: UV-free red light lamps of only 28 W can improve skin condition, promote muscle recovery, relieve pain, stimulate wound healing, improve cognitive functions, and reduce stress.
Collagen lamps: 100 W collagen anti-aging lamps can improve skin texture, increase the effectiveness of skincare products, and reduce wrinkles, scars, and hyperpigmentation.
Rubino lamps: 100 W Rubino lamps combine primarily red light with a minimal amount of UV for balanced vitamin D production and enhanced skin benefits. The skin-friendly spectrum ensures a more comfortable and pleasant treatment.
Treatment Recommendations
Red Light Therapy is simple, safe, and effective. A session can begin with as little as 10 minutes per day, and for lasting improvements, it is recommended to maintain a regular program for at least eight weeks. Because the treatment works by strengthening the skin and supporting deeper biological processes, results develop gradually but remain consistent over time. Unlike UV or laser-based methods, Red Light Therapy is completely non-invasive and uses only safe, clinically tested wavelengths of light.
